Mohan Bhagwat is RSS sarsangchalak (supreme leader) as of October 2019. According to Swami Aseemanand, he approved a number of terrorist attacks. He has stated that he believes that rape happens in India, not Bharat, namely as a consequence of Westernisation.
Bhagwat sees Narendra Modi as a friend, and has called for unity within the Sangh Parivar forces. He has stated that he believes in the "military regeneration of the Hindus", namely in Savarkar's vision: "Hinduize all Politics and Militarize Hindudom". He has said, for example: "military schools run under the aegis of Hindutva institutions are the need of the hour".
